TYM (CEO Kim Hee-yong, Kim Do-hoon / 002900), a company specializing in agricultural machinery, held the first "Dealer's Chief Engineer Program" award ceremony at the Iksan plant on the 3rd and awarded 30 million won in total prize money and certificates to eight top engineers.

The program is designed to strengthen dealer service capabilities and improve customer service satisfaction. Through this program, TYM aims to increase sales performance and motivate dealer engineers to develop themselves while discovering and nurturing skilled technical personnel.

126 service engineers from dealers across the country participated in the competition to compete for individual skills through one written test and two practical evaluations. The online written test was conducted by evaluating prior knowledge of maintenance such as general/engine/mission/hydraulic/electric/electric/electric/model characteristics. The practical evaluation dealt with the maintenance ability to quickly and accurately repair agricultural machinery by diagnosing products such as tractors, combines, and transplants, as well as engines and electric fields. Identifying the cause of failure or error. In addition, personality evaluation was included to score customer response methods such as service policy, kindness, and dealer mission and direction.

Among them, 16 top scorers won tickets for each region's practical qualifiers, and the final eight advanced to the practical finals and competed fiercely. As a result, Kim Yong-nam, an engineer at TYM Haenam Dealers, who scored the highest, was selected as a master craftsman, and Ryu Ki-hoon, an engineer at TYM Yesan Dealers, was selected as a master craftsman. In addition, six dealer engineers, including Lee Jae-gang from Icheon, Baek Kyung-wook from Anseong, Hong Eun-ki from Seosan, Hong Kang-ho from Buan, Kim Jeong-il from Gumi, and Song Do-jae from Sangju received the special honor. Eight winners were awarded a total of 30 million won in prize money and TYM integrated diagnostic scanner, T-Scan as a additional prize.

The Chief Engineer Program is a bi-annual technical competition for TYM employees and domestic and foreign dealers to evaluate their product maintenance capabilities. Multi-professionalism, including service capabilities that quickly and accurately repair broken agricultural machinery under the same conditions as the actual service environment, is evaluated as the core.

In March last year, TYM scouted chief engineers among TYM's current service employees. They are spreading their skills by participating in training not only for customer service but also for talent training and discovery. In August of the same year, a program for North American dealers was held to expand the competitiveness. The same technical competency evaluation for domestic dealers was conducted for the first time this year, and it is providing support by giving priority to domestic and foreign technical training opportunities to strengthen the expertise of chief engineers.

A TYM official said, "As TYM is a company that priortizes customer satisfaction management, we have introduced the industry's first program to compete for customer service skills in 2021 and have led engineers to improve their technical capabilities," adding, " We will continue to strive to improve engineers' rich experience and professional service, and will upgrade our products and services by forming a solid teamwork with our dealers."
