TYM Iksan Plant Conducts ‘preciousging’ to Protect the Environment of Community

TYM has actively engaged in environmental cleanup activities for local community environmental protection, realizing social value.
TYM (CEO Kim Hiyong, Kim Dohoon / 002900), a specialist agricultural machinery company, announced on the 31st that its employees at the Iksan business site have carried out the 'preciousging' activity for the second consecutive year on the Mireuksaji Ecological Trail in Iksan. This campaign was conducted again this year following last year, in line with TYM's ESG management policy to participate in protecting the Earth's environment and to enhance the sense of responsibility among employees as members of the local community.
'Preciousging' is an environmental protection movement that adds the element of observing natural ecology to 'plogging', an activity that involves running and picking up trash. It aims not just to collect trash but to foster an interest in observing the surrounding flora and fauna, experiencing the beauty of the natural ecology, and nurturing the desire to protect it.
The preciousging event took place on the 28th with the participation of 38 employees from TYM's Iksan business site. The Mireuksaji Ecological Trail, located in the same area as the National Iksan Museum, is a representative trail where Iksan citizens and visitors can experience nature and cultural history and take a rest. TYM employees collected domestic waste and personally maintained the environment from the museum parking lot to the entire ecological trail.
A TYM representative stated, "Since declaring ESG management in 2021, TYM has been expanding its social responsibility management by conducting various social contribution activities. We will continue to carry out activities to grow as a company that coexists with the local community."
