TYM and TYMICT are joining forces with SK C&C to secure future growth engines for advancing digital agriculture initiatives.

TYM (CEO Kim Hiyong, Kim Dohoon / 002900), a specialist agricultural machinery company, announced on the 17th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TYMICT and SK C&C to promote the commercialization of digital agriculture centered on autonomous farming machinery based on generative AI. The MOU ceremony was held at the SK u-Tower in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, with key stakeholders including TYM CEO Do-Hoon Kim, TYMICT CEO So-Won Kim, and SK C&C's DX Division Head Jun Park in attendance.

Under this agreement, the three companies will collaborate on ▲predictive maintenance and monitoring services through the learning and inference of agricultural machinery status data, ▲sensor data fusion within agricultural machinery and the intelligence of autonomous farming operations, and ▲the commercialization of robotics and digital agriculture platforms such as autonomous fruit farming. The goal is to rapidly respond to market and technological changes and accelerate the preparation for new businesses through active technological cooperation between the three companies.

In the full-scale partnership business, TYM will provide specialized knowledge and data on agriculture, including agricultural machinery, while TYMICT will offer expertise and data related to advanced digital agriculture, such as autonomous driving and telematics technologies. Through this, each company will collaborate on the development of functions and services for the advancement of the partnership business, with TYM also jointly pursuing commercialization, marketing, and promotional activities domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, SK C&C will take a leading role in the development of digital agriculture innovation and intelligent agricultural machinery services based on generative artificial intelligence (AI).

For the smooth progression of the partnership business, it has been agreed to provide digital agriculture optimization technologies based on enterprise AI service platforms and data analysis platforms, as well as to cooperate in marketing and promotional activities.

A TYM representative stated, "We anticipate that the cooperation with SK C&C, which possesses high-level generative AI technology and extensive data analysis experience, will greatly assist in accelerating TYM and TYMICT's digital agriculture business," and added, "Through this business agreement, we hope that the close cooperation between the three companies will secure future growth engines and strengthen global competitiveness, providing an opportunity for mutual growth."
