TYMICT, a subsidiary of TYM, introduced a self-driving kit for agricultural machinery through a new brand.

TYMICT (CEO Kim So-won), a company that develops cutting-edge agricultural machinery technology, announced on the 7th that it has launched a new brand called AGDICT and their first product, A Series, an autonomous driving kit for precision agriculture. AGDICT is TYMICT's integrated brand of digital agricultural solutions that predicts the future direction of agriculture and provides solutions for agriculture.

AGDICT's agricultural machinery autonomous driving kit, A Series is an automatic steering system that assists autonomous work of agricultural machinery based on RTK-GPS high-precision location information and consists of a main controller (RTK-GPS-based autonomous driving control device), an automatic steering device, and a display (HMI user interface device). With multiple RTK systems including their own reference stations, uninterrupted autonomous work is possible 24 hours a day without shadowing areas, and automatic wireless upgrades are supported through OTA functions.

The A-series is an autonomous driving kit that is installed on existing agricultural machines and enables autonomous work instead of manual operation. It can prevent overlapping work by allowing high-precision work above the precision of agricultural workers, and the reduction in working hours in the same area compared to manual operation is expected to reduce farmers' work fatigue, reduce fuel efficiency, and increase production.

In addition, it supports the creation of various work routes such as S-curve, in addition to the AB straightforward mode and advanced mode that creates straight and turning routes within the work site. It is possible to autonomously drive from ultra-low speed (0.5 km/h) to high speed (13 km/h), and supports stable high-precision autonomous work even on slopes through the Inertial Navigation System (INS).

Meanwhile, Agdit held a ceremony to celebrate the delivery of the first contracted customer product of the A series of self-driving kits for agricultural machinery in Ganghwa Gyodong on the 16th. Bae Young-wook, head of the sales division of Agdit, delivered the product himself and supported user training on how to operate the product and its main functions and features.
