"TYM, Kukje Machinery" is the first in the industry to provide emergency support for the number of elements to its customers
TYM announced on the 11th that it has decided to provide emergency support for the number of elements for its customers at the group level. Any customer who is experiencing difficulties due to insufficient number of urea among TYM and Kukje General Machinery tractor and combine customers can apply, and support will be provided until stock is exhausted.
Amid growing concerns about damage nationwide as the shortage of urea water supply has worsened recently, the decision to provide emergency support for urea water was made as part of the ESG management and customer satisfaction services pursued by TYM and Kukje Machinery. In consideration of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility, we are determined to take urgent measures to prevent damage to our customers.
The target of support is customers who are currently using tractors and combines through TYM/International General Machinery Regional Headquarters nationwide and are having difficulties in their work due to a lack of urea. Part of the number of urea used in product production is converted and provided, and it will be supplied through eight regional headquarters (Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam) located across the country.
TYM has consistently practiced ESG management since the past. Recently, in the '2021 ESG evaluation and rating announcement of listed companies' announced by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS), the agricultural machinery industry was the first in the agricultural machinery industry to achieve 'A', a comprehensive evaluation, and its value was recognized. In particular, in the case of the social sector, it received an A+ grade, two steps higher than last year, and received high evaluations related to sustainability management activities.
In addition, TYM has been enhancing its competitiveness in overseas markets such as North America and discovering new growth engines through synergy between the two companies since the incorporation of Kukje General Machinery as a wholly owned subsidiary in August. The urgent support for urea water jointly by TYM and Kukje Machinery is also meaningful in that it is a group company-level decision to realize customer satisfaction and give back to society, which are TYM's top priorities.
TYM President Kim Do-hoon said, “In a situation where the number of elements is absolutely insufficient, we will do our best to ensure that our customers can safely use TYM and Kukje Machinery’s products. We will be reborn as a company that does this.”
Meanwhile, the regional headquarters providing emergency support for urea water can be found on the website of TYM/International General Machinery, and inquiries and applications can be made through the regional headquarters.
